Recycling Cars

Recycling Cars is becoming more common, and soon junkyards full of old cars and parts will be a thing of the past.  There are many used car charities to which you can make a tax-deductible donation of an old, unwanted car.  These charities will usually recycle all of the old parts, tires, and metal in your old car.

You an also recycle these items yourself.  When you buy new tires or a new battery for your car, bring the old items to the place you purchased them.  Most stores will recycle them, and many offer incentives to do so.  Motor oil can also be recycled, and 2 gallons of used oil can provide enough electricity to power an average household for almost 24 hours.
